Terms and conditions

1. Bookings are at the discretion of the Operations Manager (or his deputy) and will be subject to availability.

2. The minimum number for a society booking is 12 and the maximum is 48, unless a ‘shotgun’ start is available. Smaller groups are very welcome but should be booked through our Pro Shop as casual green fees.

3. Provisional bookings can be made in person, by telephone or in writing and if the day and time is available this will be reserved for a maximum of 7 days and then cancelled.

4. Bookings will not be confirmed until a signed application form has been received and the deposit of £100 has been paid. If paying by cheque, please make payable to Farnham Park Sports Fields.

5. No refund of the deposit will be given if the booking is cancelled by the Society/Hirer. However, an alternative date will be offered if a minimum of 14 days’ notice is given.

6. In the case of a short notice booking (within 14 days) a signed booking form and £100 deposit will be required at the time of booking.

7. Should The South Buckinghamshire have to cancel the booking due to weather conditions which leads to closing the course, a full refund of the deposit or an alternative date will be offered.

8. Final numbers must be confirmed with the Pro Shop at least 72 hours prior to the booking.

9. The Society will be charged for all spaces, confirmed 72 hours prior, and person(s) unable to attend on the day will still be charged the full amount.

10. The balance of the agreed payment MUST be made on the day of the booking, prior to the first tee off time, cash and cheques will NOT be accepted for balance payments on the day.

11. Any golf buggies will be charged at the prevailing ‘visitors’ rate and must be paid for before use. A maximum of three buggies can be booked in advance via the booking form. All booked buggies are subject to availability on the day, due to course conditions and abiding by the terms and conditions of hire for a buggy.

12. Green Fees are exempt of VAT.

13. The person completing the booking form will be responsible for the actions and consequences of their guests, employees, and friends.

14. All players must adhere to the dress code of The South Buckinghamshire, which as a minimum requires a golf branded t-shirt or jumper, trousers, or tailored shorts with golf shoes to be worn at all times. No denim, trainers, football/rugby tops are to be worn. The full-dress code and etiquette is available on our website, and this must be adhered to at all times.

15. No bolts, nails, screws, tacks, drawing pins or tape shall be fixed to any part of the premises, nor shall any cards, banners or other articles be fixed internally or externally without prior consent.

16. The premises should be left in a reasonable condition, but should there be any damage or additional cleaning required the hirer may be charged to remedy the problem or make good the damage.

17. No inflammable, dangerous or offensive article or any animal (other than registered guide dogs) shall be brought onto the premises without written consent of the General Manager.

18. No person under the age of 18 shall be permitted to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.

19. The South Buckinghamshire reserves the right to conclude any event, which in its opinion, is unsuitable or not properly conducted and in such cases, no part of the payment shall be returned whatsoever.

20. The South Buckinghamshire catering section reserve the right to change the menu content under reasonable circumstances.

21. Any queries with regard to the Society booking must be raised with the Operations Manager (or his deputy).

22. All prices quoted on our website and other marketing material are subject to change.

23. Any special offers that may be available from time to time for green fees are not applicable to Society bookings. All food will be charged at the agreed rate at the time of the deposit being paid.
