Terms and Conditions of Play

  • We are now in Tier 4, and will only allow two balls to play, and will not allow a couple from one household to play with someone from another household
  • 18-hole Tee Times will be available at set times on the 1st tee, with a 10-minute gap
  • Tee times are ONLY available from 8.10am Monday to Sunday, as this allows the greenkeepers time on the course before play begins
  •  Presently, Members may book up to 7 days in advance online or over the phone, visitors can only book online up to 4 days in advance with a 50% non-refundable deposit for any 18-hole booking
  • The playing of nine holes of golf only is available every afternoon between 12 noon and 1.50am - please check online or call golf shop for times available, and between 8.40am and 9.40am (bookable via the golf shop only)
  • All tee times are now TWO BALLS ONLY, and you can play with ONE other person from outside your household
  • Tee Times must be booked in advance, online or over the phone, and should be cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice if unable to play
  • Certain Tee Times starting from Saturday 5 December are now pre booked for the two clubs based here, and no new society bookings are being accepted in December and January
  • Golf Now or Tee Off Time bookings are presently not available
  • Golfers are limited to ONE round of up to EIGHTEEN holes per day, except where extra holes in a competition are required, but please ensure our staff are aware of this before proceeding to the next tee
  • Golfers may only play ONE ball, even when playing on their own, therefore it is one ball per green fee
  • Social distancing MUST be adhered to at all times whilst playing, so please adhere to the TWO metre rule, as this is possible when on a golf course
  • Only one golfer is allowed in the golf shop at any one time, and payment must be made by card, ideally CONTACTLESS. Cash will not be accepted
  • Toilets are open, but the changing rooms will remain closed
  • Golfers must NOT come down to the golf course without having pre-booked a tee time, so as to avoid unnecessary congregation
  • Club competitions are now permitted, however, we ask all golfers to avoid congregation of groups before and after play
  • A good speed of play is required and it is vital that 18 holes is completed within 4 hours, allowing 10 minutes to pack your clubs away and leave the site
  • Do NOT join up with another group to make a group of more than 2 UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, as if you do you will all be asked to leave the course
  • Please play a provisional ball from the tee if there is a chance that you have lost the first ball
  • Do NOT pick up your partner's ball, or any found stray ball
  • Players are advised not to exchange cards but verbally communicate scores
  • Do NOT touch or remove flagsticks. This is to minimise exposure to COVID-19. We now have new flagsticks in place, which allow you to lift the flag with your putter, which will raise your ball out of the hole. (Please see Local Rules at end of this document)
  • Rakes have been removed from all bunkers, and we would encourage golfers to try and smooth the disturbed area with their foot or a golf club. Please see local rules with regard to playing out of a bunker
  • Ball washers have been covered up, therefore, please do not attempt to use them
  • The Air blowers have been switched off, so please do not attempt to use them
  • Please be aware of walkers on the Public Footpath - there may be more than usual as they have been used to walking the whole course during the second lockdown
  • Buggies are presently not available for hire due to course conditions
  • Personal one seater buggies are presently NOT allowed due to course conditions being very slippery
  • Should there be bad weather, with thunder and lightning, staff will sound the Klaxon and all players must make their way back to the clubhouse, however, due to COVID-19 restrictions, please wait to be seated if possible, or wait outside, or in your car, until the staff state that it is safe to return to the course
  • All golfers MUST adhere to the 'Rule of Two' that was brought into law by the government from Sunday 20 December. This law applies throughout the clubhouse, car park, patio area and on the golf course.
  • Following the latest COVID-19 guidance issues on Saturday 19 December, Buckinghamshire is now in Tier 4. As a result we have decided not to offer a Takeaway service so as to restrict use of the clubhouse to a minimum
